Trying to save every tooth

Dr. Irfan Jiwa tries to save every natural tooth where possible!

Root Canal Treatment

We save your natural tooth by removing infected pulp, disinfecting the canals, and sealing them. This stops pain and prevents the need for an extraction.

Re-Root Canal/ Retreatment

If a previous treatment fails, we reopen the tooth to remove old fillings and re-clean the canals. It’s a second chance to save a tooth and ensure long-term healing.

Apisectomy

A minor surgical procedure to remove an infection at the very tip of the root. We seal the root from the bottom up to save the tooth when a standard root canal isn’t enough.

03.

Crown Lengthening

We gently reshape the gum and bone tissue to expose more of your natural tooth. This creates a stable foundation for a crown if a tooth is broken or decayed below the gum line.

We use advanced bioceramic materials to stop the tooth structure from dissolving internally or externally. This specialized repair halts damage and prevents tooth loss.

Separated Instrument retrieval

Using microscopes and ultrasonic tools, we safely remove or bypass broken dental fragments left in a canal. This allows for the successful completion of your root canal.

Broken Down Teeth

Give us a chance to try save teeth that may have been called unrestorable! We can use Deep Marginal Elevation, Crown lengthening Surgery, fibre posts and other techniques to restore very compromised teeth.

08.

Vital Pulp Therapy (VPT)

A conservative treatment that uses medicated materials to heal and protect the tooth’s living pulp. This encourages the tooth to repair itself and often avoids a full root canal.

Cracked Tooth Syndrome and Investigations

Using high-power microscopes, we locate and assess hidden cracks that cause sharp pain. Early diagnosis allows us to stabilize the tooth before the damage becomes permanent.

What to expect

A member of the reception team will contact you to book a convenient time for your appointment.

From the moment you arrive, our team will make sure you feel comfortable and well-informed. Your visit begins with a detailed discussion about your symptoms and dental history, followed by a thorough examination and any necessary imaging.

Before you leave, you’ll have a clear plan forward — with no pressure, just honest guidance to help you decide what’s best for you.

Consultation

From £65

Your initial appointment includes a comprehensive consultation with Dr. Irfan Jiwa. During this visit, we take the time to carefully understand your concerns, review any past treatments, and perform a thorough clinical and digital assessment. Small digital X-rays are typically included, and if required, we may suggest a 3D CBCT scan for a more detailed evaluation (additional fees apply).

By the end of your visit, you’ll have a clear understanding of your condition, a full overview of available treatment options, and an estimated success outlook — empowering you to make a confident, well-informed choice.

CBCT Scan

£150

A CBCT (cone beam CT) scan creates a high-resolution 3D view of your tooth and the surrounding bone structure. This allows us to identify hidden root canals, infections, or areas of bone loss that may not appear on standard X-rays.

This type of advanced imaging is particularly valuable for complex cases or teeth that have had previous treatment, helping us build the most accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.

The scan is fast, taking around 30 seconds, and is completely comfortable and pain-free.

Someone from our team will contact you.
