A root canal is a procedure used to treat an infected or damaged tooth. If the pulp (the soft tissue inside the tooth) becomes infected due to decay or injury, a root canal removes the infected tissue, cleans and disinfects the area, and seals it to prevent further infection. This helps preserve your natural tooth and alleviate pain, avoiding the need for an extraction.
Root canal treatment is typically not painful. We perform the procedure under local anesthesia, ensuring you remain comfortable throughout. Most patients report that the pain they experience from a root canal is less than the pain caused by the infection itself, and many experience relief almost immediately after the treatment.
A root canal treatment is performed to save a tooth with infected or damaged pulp. If a previous root canal fails or the tooth becomes reinfected, a re-root canal (retreatment) may be necessary. This procedure involves reopening the tooth, removing old fillings, cleaning the canals again, and resealing the tooth to ensure long-term healing.
An apicoectomy is a surgical procedure used to remove infection from the tip of the tooth’s root, typically when a standard root canal treatment isn’t enough. This procedure is often performed when there is persistent infection at the root tip, and it helps save the tooth by sealing it from the bottom up.
Crown lengthening is a procedure designed to expose more of your tooth structure by gently reshaping the gum and bone tissue. It is often necessary when a tooth is broken or decayed below the gum line, as it allows us to create a stable foundation for a crown, restoring both the function and appearance of the tooth.
Vital pulp therapy is a less invasive, conservative treatment aimed at preserving the living pulp (the soft tissue inside the tooth). It uses medicated materials to heal and protect the pulp, encouraging the tooth to repair itself. This approach often avoids the need for a full root canal treatment and is used when the pulp is still healthy enough to recover.
We use high-powered microscopes and advanced diagnostic tools to detect cracks that are not visible to the naked eye but can cause sharp pain. Early diagnosis of cracked tooth syndrome allows us to stabilize the tooth before the damage becomes irreversible.
If you’re experiencing dental or facial pain, we provide specialized evaluations to pinpoint the exact source of your discomfort. By identifying the root cause of the pain, we ensure that you receive the correct treatment, leading to faster and more effective relief.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is a 3D imaging technology that provides high-resolution scans of your teeth, bone, and nerves. This allows us to assess your condition with pinpoint accuracy, ensuring precise diagnosis and treatment planning. CBCT imaging helps guide us in providing safer, more predictable procedures.

Tooth resorption occurs when the structure of the tooth breaks down internally or externally. We use advanced bioceramic materials to halt this process and restore the tooth, preventing further damage and potential tooth loss. This specialized repair helps preserve your tooth for the long term.
If an instrument breaks inside the root canal, we have specialized tools, including microscopes and ultrasonic devices, to safely retrieve or bypass the broken fragment. This ensures that your root canal treatment can be completed successfully without further complications.
