Case Description

One of the most common reasons for endodontic failure is missed anatomy. That is likely the reason this seemingly well obturated case had failed.

The previous clinician had missed an MB2 canal in the mesial root. We opted to retreat the whole tooth. A traditional access cavity was planned as it was through the existing composite restoration.

Instrumentation was completed with the reciproc file system and all treatment was done using an operating microscope + rubber dam isolation.
